Dr Michelle Boyle’s malaria immunity research boosted by Snow Medical Foundation Fellowship

A Geelong scientist will receive a multimillion-dollar boost to her research, which she says “absolutely essential” to the success of her work protecting children worldwide. A Geelong-born scientist is attempting to develop urgently needed vaccines to prevent and treat malaria, which remains one of the world’s biggest killers in children under the age of five. Burnet Institute scientist Dr Michelle Boyle has been awarded a Snow Medical Foundation Fellowship to support her malaria immunity research.
